On Friday, the players coming Closest-to-the-Pin on all Par 3s, qualified for a shootout. They were:
Hole 2: Lindsay Grant, Gary Andreasian, John Kingman and McNalley
Hole 5: Kevin Murphy, Jeff Stratton, Brad Marcus and Steve Noya
Hole 8: Brian McEldowney, Mark Mammel, Brian Tobey, Scott Rhoads
Hole 12: Steve McClellan, Erik Struve, Jim Sims, Jeff Dickey
Hole 17: Keith Antes, Mic Falkel, Robin Dickson, Jim Fitzpatrick
The Shootout was conducted from the left side of the 9th fairway from about 150 yards out. Brad Marcus captured the Shootout with a shot stopping 13’ 11” from the hole.
Saturday’s after-round competition was an alternate-shot two hole putting contest on the Quail Lodge course. The field was divided into two flights and played separate two-hole combinations. Winners on one course were Lindsay Grant-Patrick Carroll and Mark Mammel-Scott Jensen won on the second. The Grant-Carroll team won the shoot-out.
