2023 Quail Club Championship

Fifty Quail members competed for the Club Championship on July 14-15. The format was 36 holes of stroke play over two days.  There were three flights and a final day back-nine card off was used as a tie breaker.

Congratulations to Ryan Dority, Ray Hamilton and Charles Yager for winning their flights. Ryan captured the Gross Flight and title of Club Champion with a score of 150 (+8), three strokes better than runner-up Brad Marcus and six better than third place finisher Joe Aaron.  The winning margin in Net Flight A was one stroke with Ray scoring an even part 142 compared to Donn Wilkinson’s 143.  Steve Mitchell was third with 145 (+3).  Net Flight B resulted in the playoff between Charles Yager and Marty Livingston who finished at 145 (+3). The title was decided by a day-two back 9 card-off. Michael Blas was third at 148.
